WHO WE ARE
Iperstoria is a multilingual, international, blind peer-reviewed biannual journal (ISSN 2281-4582) with a focus on English and American Studies.
FOCUS AND SCOPE
Iperstoria is a journal with a focus on English and American Studies accompanied by a multidisciplinary / transdisciplinary approach. It welcomes contributions on a broad range of topics: from literature to culture and other media, from linguistics to language teaching. Each issue is divided in three sections: a monographic section organized around a selected theme in language and/or literature and culture; a miscellaneous section; a section of reviews. The journal also publishes translations and interviews.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Each submitted essay is initially read by the issue editors and by members of the editorial board in order to assess its general level and pertinence for publication. The selection of peer reviewers is the joint responsibility of the editorial board and editors of each specific issue. Reviewers are selected according to their expertise on the subjects in the essays under consideration. Reviewers provide a detailed assessment, as well as specific observations highlighting each essay’s strengths and weaknesses. The issue editors and the editorial board make the final decision as for publication or rejection of a submitted, or resubmitted, essay.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
Iperstoria does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) or Article Submission Charges (ASC). The journal provides immediate open access to its contents on the principle that making research freely available supports a public and global exchange of knowledge.
